For all that they spend much of their time in a constant state of change, memes are one of the most reliable constants in our lives sometimes. While trends may change and the occasional drought may occur, there's always going to be a steady stream of funny internet pictures new and old to keep us entertained. Life may go through many up and downs, but whatever goes on in reality, there's always going to be something dumb behind a screen to take our mind off it, or even make it feel better. This isn't always a predictable process, but that makes it all the more of a welcome distraction. A random meme list is specifically designed for giving our minds a couple of minutes of rest, even if that's kind of a paradox with all the overstimulation going on. That's not what we have to think about now, though. We've got the memes to give us our thoughts now.
